Wow, has it really been almost 4 months since I posted? I guess so. I still read though, although, many of you don't seem to be posting very often. I have a sneaky suspicion than some have defected to Facebook. I do have an account over there i created when we were looking for my boyfriend's nephew when he went MIA. Might have to go back over there and look around.
So, what's up? Am definately ready and needing spring and warm weather. Time changes next weekend and that will help. My yard is full of sticky balls (can't remember technical name) and I can't stand it. they need raking up, but i don't think my arms can stand it. Gonna have to get out the riding mower out and try to suck them up in the bags.
Been having some physical ailments. Mild seizures, which i thought were dizzy spells. Am on medication which has some pain in the ass side effects--tingling in the fingers, toes and face, loss of appetite (which hopefully will help me lose weight which is a plus, but not really healthy), some diarrhea, and sometimes i get my words a bit mixed up and feel a bit off. Also having some muscle weakness and having some tests done. Hit 40 and fall apart. What a bitch!
A few bullets--like Birckhead!
-ready for baseball!--Go Nats! Go O's! Boo Yankees!
-going to see A Chorus Line at the National Theater in a couple of weeks with Mom. looking forward to that!
-going to see Elton John & Billy Joel at National's Stadium in July. Will be great! Getting tickets was a bitch. before they were even sold out by the original seller (tickets.com) the other outlets like stubhub were selling them at more than twice their face value. should be illegal in my opinion. i agree, if someone wants to sell their ticket, they should be free to do so, but i don't think there should be internet companies to do it for them at these outrageous prices before the original tickets are even sold out. Something should be done.
-work sucks. need a raise. nursing is hard.
-at least nurses always can get a job
-if anyone is visiting or lives near D.C. go to National Harbor. It's beautiful! New things opening all the time. Now has a piano bar where i hear there are 2 pianos where 2 people play and engage the crowd to sing and request songs. sounds really cool. Last nite there was a line of people waiting to get in. Very nice, upscale, safe area.
-have a nice Sunday!
